East Timor
East Timor, located in Southeastern Asia, is officially known as the Democratic Republic of Timor-Leste. It is also known as Timor-Leste. The economy of the country is mainly dependent on agriculture. Main agricultural products are copra, coffee, cotton, rice, wheat, tobacco, potatoes, corn (maize), cassava, soybeans, cabbage, mangoes, bananas, vanilla orchids and sandalwood. Main industries of East Timor include agriculture, fishing, building construction, transportation, vehicle maintenance, coffee bean collection and processing, newspaper printing, textiles, soap manufacturing and handicrafts. |
